Welcome Page

Here you can create new profiles, or edit, view, and print profiles that you’ve already created. Creating a New Profile – After selecting “Create a New Profile” you will be prompted to enter a profile name. The name you choose will identify the profile so you can return to it later. After entering a profile name you will be taken to the first setup screen.

Setup Screen 1

To produce customized draft rankings, we need information about your league. On the first setup screen, you will enter your League Type, League Provider, Draft Style, and Total Number of Teams.

League Type - In a Head-To-Head league, two teams are paired up and the team with more points gets a win. In a Rotisserie league, teams get points each week that are added to a running tally; at the end of the season, the team with the most points wins. If you’re not sure what type of league you’re in, check with your league manager.

League Provider – If you’re using one of the popular online league providers, select it from our list. If you’re using any other league provider or have created your own, select “Other.”

Draft Style – In an “Auction”, each team gets a fixed number of dollars to bid on players. In a simple “Draft” (or Serpentine Draft), teams draft players one after another. If you’re not sure which option to select, your league is probably a simple draft and you should select “Draft.”

Salary Cap – This option will only be available if you select “Auction” under Draft Style. Enter the amount of money allocated to each team in your league.

Total Number of Teams – Select the total number of teams in your league, including yours.

Setup Screen 2

Enter your Team’s Name.

You can choose to enter the team names of your competitors or you can skip this step and Draft Center will refer to your competitors as Team 1, Team 2, Team 3…

Setup Screen 3

Enter the number of allowable starting Quarterbacks, Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, Kickers, and Defense/Special Teams.

Many leagues include utility spots (your league may not). If your league allows 2 utility Wide Receive / Tight Ends, you would select “2” next to the Util (WR/TE) spot and leave the rest of the utility spots as 0.

Enter the number of Bench Players allowed.

Setup Screen 4

Here you will enter the scoring categories for each position your league includes. For Quarterback, your league may give points for Pass Attempts, Pass Yards, and Rush Yards, in which case you would check these boxes on Setup Screen 4. If you’re not sure if your league includes a category, you can leave it blank and always add it later. After entering the scoring categories for Quarterback, you’ll enter the information for all of the other positions allowed on your team.

Setup Screen 5

Enter the points your league awards in each category. For example, your league may award 5 points for every Pass Completion by your Quarterback. In this case you would enter: Pass Attempt: [5] Point(s) Per [1] Pass Attempt

Another example: Let’s say your league rewards Wide Receivers with 5 points for every 10 Reception Yards. You would enter: Reception Yards: [5] Point(s) Per [10] Reception Yards

Kicker – For most leagues, you can simply enter the number of points made per Field Goals and XPT. However, some leagues award extra points for longer distance kicks. Enter the total points your team earns for a particular distance. For example, if your league gives all successful field goals 10 points and an additional 5 points for a 30-39 yard field goal, you would enter 15 points next to the 30-39 yard range.

Defence/Special Teams – Under the DST Point Allowed section, enter the number of fantasy points your team will receive for each number of points allowed. You can add additional point ranges by clicking “Add” on the right. For example, if your team receives 10 points for allowing 0 points, 5 points for allowing 1-5 points, 3 points for allowing 6-10 points, and 1 point for allowing 11-20 points, you would do the following: Enter 10 Fantasy Points in the first row; in the second row you would specify 1 -5 on the left side and 5 on the right side, then click “Add”; Next you would specify 6-10 on the left side and 3 on the right side and click “Add” again’ Finally, you would specify 11 – 20 on the left side and 1 on the right side. You would do the same for DST Yard Allowed.

Draft Center

This is where you manage the draft. This area includes the Master tab, Position tabs, and the Team tab.

Master Tab – The Master Tab is the command station for the draft. Here you can assign players to teams, mark players as hot or cold, or move players up or down in rank.

Assign a player to a team – Click on the drag down box at the far left in the row of the player you want to assign. To assign Brett Favre to Team 5, you would select “Team 5” in the drag down box in Brett Favre’s row. You can view which players have been assigned to which teams in the “Team” tab. Players that have been assigned to teams will no longer be visible in the Master list.

Mark a player as hot/cold – Simply click the C button in the row of the player you want to mark as cold, or H for hot. This is an easy way to keep track of players you think might outperform or underperform the Draft Center Rankings. For example, if you think a player is an injury risk but still like him as the #2 draft, you can leave him in the #2 spot but mark him as cold.

Change a player’s rank – Click the up or down arrow next to a player to shift his rank.

QB, RB, WR, TE, K, and DST Tabs – These tabs let you see all of the players for each position in rank order with the relevant statistics for each. For example, under the WR tab you see all Wide Receivers ranked in order of their value in your league. On the right side of the screen you will see hot tips to take into consideration when managing your draft. For example, if we list Alex Smith as a top sleeper, you might want to move him higher in your draft ranking than the Draft Center Master tab suggests. You can do this by clicking the up arrow next to Alex Smith on the Master tab.

Utility Tabs – There will be a utility tab for each utility spot you specified in the setup process.

Team Tab – This is where you can view the players that have been assigned to teams. (Players are assigned to teams on the Master tab). The Team tab is an easy way to keep track of who has been drafted so far.
