Fantasy Football Top 200
Fantasy football concerns… Please help?
Ok so this isn’t your typical how’s my team.. It’s a 10 team .5ppr but here’s the thing qbs get 6 for a td and bonuses for 300 and 400 yards… Receiving and rushing bonuses at 100 and 200 yards as well (4points)
Ok I have
QB Matt Ryan
Wr1 roddy white
Wr2 Hakeem nicks
Wr3 mike Wallace
Rb1 jamaal Charles
rb2.. Steven Jackson
TE Owen Daniels
team def NYJ
kicker is Garrett Hartley
bench is Moreno, sydney rice, aj green.. Matt cassel, Marcedes Lewis, and Tim Hightower
I would say I’m gonna dominate but the fact that matt Ryan only has 1 game over 300 yards last season and we have qb bonuses and stuff concerns me.. But will the 4 point bonuses for rushing and reciving balance out.. Because I have three top 10 wrs and two great backs.. Or am screwed without a dominant QB?
I play in the same kind of league every year. bonus points for hitting yardage marks, and throwing TD’s are worth as much as rushing and receiveing TD’s. QB’s are the most dominant posistions. In our league last year, here were the top 8 finishes for QB’s:
Manning: 385
Brady: 383
Brees: 371
Rodgers: 348
Rivers: 344
Vick: 311
Schaub: 298
Ryan: 291
At the end of the year, the difference between Ryan and Manning (The top QB for points) was 94 points. Divide that out by a 16 game schedule, and that means that on average, Peyton Manning scored about 5.9 points more than Ryan per week. Dropping from 24.1 to 18.2 is not a bad price to pay, for picking up the RB’s and WR’s that you did. All in all, I’d say you had a VERY nice draft.
How about an opinion on my fantasy football trade?
